EXCLUSIVE: Prime Minister Joseph Muscat Named In Police Statement By Yorgen Fenech

Murder suspect Yorgen Fenech has named Prime Minister Joseph Muscat in his police statement, Lovin Malta is informed.

Fenech, who is the prime suspect of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder was refused a presidential pardon by Cabinet earlier this morning.

Sources have confirmed that he still decided to give police more information about the murder and its cover up – in the hope of a lighter sentence.

Today, for the first time, Fenech mentioned Dr Muscat’s name, though it is not yet known to what extent.

Meanwhile, reports are circulating of Muscat’s imminent resignation.
