Jonathan Dos Santos Will Never Play For Mexico Again - Father

The Barcelona youngster could quit El Tri after he failed to make Javier Aguirre's squad for the World Cup…
According to his father, Barcelona youngster Jonathan Dos Santos is ready to quit the Mexican national team after being omitted from Javier Aguirre's final 23-man squad for the World Cup.

"We are tired of how he has been treated,” Dos Santos’ father Zizinho, who played professionally in Mexico, told Televisa.

“This is not the first time it has happened and it's enough for us. Jona won't ever play again for Mexico.

Dos Santos had played the full 90 minutes in Mexico’s 5-1 friendly victory over Gambia yesterday and was thought to have done enough to make the squad.

"If there are 23 players better than him, then no problem,” he continued. “But it's not like that.”

“They will never do this to him again. I love Mexico, it's my country, even though I’m Brazilian, but they can't hurt the kid like this.”
