Front Mission Spinoff From Metal Gear and From Software Veterans, Left Alive, Gets a Release Date

Left Alive is an upcoming game set in the Front Mission universe developed by veteran members of the Armored Core and Metal Gear development team. Today, Square Enix announced a release date as well as a pricey collector's edition that comes with a mech action figure.

Set in a new world order where economic blocs wage proxy wars against one another using mechs, a new conflict has broken out on the boarder city of Novo Slava. Players will take the role of survivors who are "left alive" in the aftermath of the conflict.

Left Alive is coming out on March 5, 2019 for PS4 and PC and is available for pre-order now on Steam and PS4 for $60 USD. Early orders will come with the Destructive DLC Pack, a sample soundtrack, and five wallpapers.

There's also a $150 collector's "Mech Edition" that comes with a copy of the game, a Collector's box with artwork by Yoji Shinkawa, a steelbook case, and a Volk Action Figure, along with the Survival Pack DLC. If you like collectible toys, then this is probably the version you're interested in. Square Enix is also selling some Front Mission action figures for $90 through its online store.
