TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY 'TROY SCHULTE WAY' COMING SOON?!?!

Some of our smarter readers send us an interesting item picked from an upcoming Kansas City Parks Board agenda.

Checkit:

"Formal request to add an Honorary Street name as “Troy Schulte Way” to the 400 block of E. 12th Street the City of Kansas City, Missouri."

That's a pretty bold move considering that he's still working along this street, now on the Jackson County side.

Typically this honor is saved for old school locals who are near the end of their lives and not just prolonging their careers at the Courthouse.

As always, we offer a word from AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS who sent this item our way:

"Maybe they should an establish this as an honorary MLK street instead of naming it for Troy Schulte?!?!"

That's A PRETTY DAMN GOOD SUGGESTION considering the central location. 12th & Oak is at the apex of municipal government wherein every resident is mandated equal representation by our Constitution. Moreover, it's near one of the locations of the KCMO MLK riots back in '68.

Either way and because they read this blog . . .

CONSIDERING THE CURRENT CONDITION OF KANSAS CITY ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE AND FINANCES: DOES FORMER CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE DESERVE AN HONORARY STREET?!?

And so . . .

KANSAS CITY NOW REMAINS ONLY TEN MURDERS AWAY FROM A RECORD BREAKING HOMICIDE NUMBER!!!

Many locals were hoping that the cold weather would curb the killing but clearly that's not the case as holiday season pressure seems to be inspiring more deadly confrontations.

For what local stations are paying the models and hotties who make every local event nearly unbearable, I'm sure we could lure the Canadian forecaster into the U.S. with a great offer; clearly his skills are needed here given that local weather newsies have been CONSISTENTLY WRONG up to and including this hot mess.

And now, local weather poseurs simply crowd the airwaves taking about the storm already well underway-- The only situation where local weather people prove useful by GALLIVANTING across the screen and "informing" viewers about what has already happened.

Earlier in the day there was a bit of confusion about the NKC vs. KCMO murder locale of the killing but one of our readers rightly informed us that "the location is a group of Section 8 Apartments in KCMO."

And so this one counts on the KC side as the murder number continues to rise.
