Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shocking step down from their royal duties, now known as 'Megxit', has sparked furious debate among royal commentators in the British press. Martin Currie, 36, and Sarah O'Brien, 32, from Doncaster were both charged with the murder of two-year-old Keigan O'Brien. The couple appeared this morning at Doncaster Magistrates' Court before being led away in a prison van. O'Brien and Currie will appear at Sheffield Crown Court at a future date.

The photos, which depict the grisly outcome of the January 3 Reaper drone's missile strike on two cars carrying Soleimani and nine others, were obtained by Fox News from a U.S. government source. None of these people - who know how Meghan conducts herself and the strategies she employs - is surprised that this free-spirited and untameably headstrong woman has so prematurely jumped the royal ship, and 'cut and run' (as one friend put it) for a new life in Canada. The Queen (left, on Friday) has been treated 'shoddily' by Harry and Meghan (pictured, top-left in October) and should not ask them to stay in the UK, the public believes, according to a Daily Mail poll (right). The poll also suggests there will be deep anger if the couple keep their titles and privileges while effectively quitting as royals and moving to North America. Meghan is blamed for the couple's bombshell move, with just 4 per cent saying it was Harry. The poll reveals that both the duke and duchess have paid a heavy price in popularity since making the announcement on Wednesday night. Meghan's public rating is now a net minus 2 per cent, down 22 points in three months. She is in a lowly tenth place among the royals, below Sophie Wessex. Harry, who not long ago was the nation's most loved prince, has seen his rating slump by 20 points to fifth.

It was of a smiling mother-of-three in jeans and a jumper posing on a bench at the family's country home in Norfolk to mark her 38th birthday. Kate looks contended and wonderfully understated - the only hint of her royal status being the blue sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to William's mother, Princess Diana.

Driver Florian Pratt swerved onto the wrong side of the road while navigating a bend in a country lane in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. His 'high-powered' Subaru hit the motorcycle rider, 35, head-on leaving the rider with a broken back, sternum and wrist. Pratt has been jailed for 16 months after admitting causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

The footage was recorded at a Barclays bank in Wigan, Greater Manchester, at around 4.50pm on Friday. The January full Moon is called a Wolf Moon as it is when the wolf packs were said to first emerge after a long winter in native American culture. The next full moon will occur on February 9, which is also known as snow moon.

Chinese property billionaire Cheung Chung Kiu (inset) is finalising the deal for this 45-room property (bottom right, and interiors pictured) in Knightsbridge, which is likely to be the biggest residential deal of 2020. The deal, once it goes through, will exceed the £140 million paid for a country house in Oxfordshire almost a decade ago. It is not known what Mr Kiu intends doing with the property. Insiders claim he could transform £210 million property into several apartments which could sell for £700 million. Swiss wealth manager Elie Chamat is managing the sale on behalf of the heirs of a late Saudi prince.
