NRG has announced the signing of Joseph “Frexs” Sanchez, completing their professional Apex Legends roster. Formerly of Cloud 9 and Team Reciprocity, Frexs hasn’t seen a ton of success during his time competing. However, he has a lot of experience with the battle royale genre. NRG fills out their team after Coby “dizzy” Meadows announced his retirement and subsequent departure from Apex Legends and NRG. While Frexs is certainly no dizzy, he should be able to help the organization stay near the top of the competitive Apex Legends‘ rankings.

Frexs joins NRG
As aforementioned, Frexs doesn’t have nearly the same amount of success as his current teammates. He did take home fourth in the Global Loot League NA Series but that’s his highest placement to date. However, NRG apparently sees potential in Frexs despite his low placements.

Like other Apex Legends professionals, Frexs has also played battle royale titles like Fortnite and PUBG. He saw minimal success in those games as well, earning a total of $15,096 across all three titles he’s competed in.
Stepping into the vacant NRG spot, Frexs will have some tough shoes to fill. Dizzy was arguably the top player on the former squad and, while Frexs is a solid player, he doesn’t match up with dizzy. Presumably, NRG hopes that a change of scenery will be all Frexs needs to elevate his game.
