It seems that good days are here for young Varun Tej and actress Pooja Hegde. The young actors, whose film 'Mukunda' is set to hit the theatres on Christmas, is getting good offers from all the Telugu-speaking areas for movie rights.
'Mukunda' rights for east of Godavari region have been sold for Rs 1.25 crore, and the rights in Nellore region have fetched Rs 75 lakh for the producers. The film's total business in both Telugu states including NRA and advances will be close to Rs 15 to 16 crore. The worldwide rights for the film will be close to Rs 18 crores, plus audio and satellite rights may fetch Rs 3 to 4 crore more.
The trailer for the film was released a few days ago, and it left the fans unsatisfied, because it didn't feature the young actress Hegde.
