Although Jack White’s been busy on the European leg of his tour, he wasn’t too caught up in his work to celebrate his mother’s 88th birthday Tuesday (Oct. 9).

The 43-year-old rocker invited his mom, Teresa Gillis, on stage to lead the crowd in singing the Polish birthday song, “Sto lat,” to her in her home country of Poland. White later posted a photo of him and his mom at the show on Instagram.

White has nine more European stops on his tour in support of his Boarding House Reach album before he heads to North America for a few more. He will also be reuniting with The Raconteurs in 2019 to release the band’s first new album in over ten years.
