DUSHANBE - VARZOB GORGE - ISKANDERKUL LAKE - DUSHANBE

DAY 1

Сity tour on foot in Dushanbe (visit bazaar, National museum of antiquities (can see a 13 m in length, weighting 5,5 tons sculpture of Buddha, also known as the ‘Sleeping Buddha’), Ethnography museum (collections showing the working clothes and festive costumes, kitchenware for everyday use and special occasions, woodwork, bags for various purposes, weaponry, carpets, decorative felts, mats, embroidery, pottery and more), art saloon, souvenir shop, lunch and dinner in the city

DAY 2

By car from Dushanbe over ‘Istiqlol’ tunnel (or via Anzob Pass, 3, 372 m if tunnel will be close) to Iskanderkul Lake (around 160 km from Dushanbe), on arrival HIKING (1-1,5 hrs) to beautiful waterfall near Iskanderkul Lake than by car to Sarytag Village which is located at the other side of the lake, overnight home stay at Sarytag

DAY 3

HIKING to Dojdemernaya Peak near the Iskanderkul Lake, in the evening come back to Sarytag, overnight home stay at Sarytag

DAY 4

By car Sarytag - Iskanderkul Lake - ‘Istiqlol’ tunnel (or Anzob Pass, 3, 372 m if tunnel will be close) - Dushanbe
