Prepare to get "stupid" Little Monsters, because LG6 is finally on its way. Lady Gaga took to social media on Tuesday (Feb. 25) to confirm that "Stupid Love," the lead single to her long-awaited sixth album, is just days away from being released into the world.

"'STUPID LOVE' THE NEW SINGLE BY LADY GAGA OUT FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT ET," the pop star tweeted, confirming the track's Friday (Feb. 28) release date alongside a bright promotional billboard emblazoned with "Stupid Love" and a pair of glossy pink lips.

The news of the imminent release comes one month after the track allegedly leaked, causing mass pandemonium across the the internet as fans went gaga for the single's '80s-inspired pop sound reminiscent of Gaga's 2008 debut album The Fame.

"Stupid Love" marks Gaga's first solo single since her 2016 album Joanne and one-off single "The Cure" the following year. It will also be Mother Monster's first new release since her star-making turn -- and Oscar win for best original song -- in 2019's A Star Is Born.
