THE Wingmakers claimed maximum points from their Bank Holiday weekend double header with a 2-1 victory over Bala Town at Maes Tegid to add to Saturday's three points at home to Carmarthen.
The Lakesiders nearly took the lead in their first attack when Mark Connolly fired over the bar from just inside the box after an exchange with Lewis Codling.
But, two minutes later, Connolly slotted Bala into the lead after chesting down a long ball.
What was probably the game's turning point - and certainly the talking point - arrived just past the half hour when Bala's Kenny Lunt was sent off for a second caution for taking a free kick before referee Bryn Markham-Jones had blown his whistle.
This left Colin Caton's side to play on with 10 men and Airbus took full advantage either side of half time.
Four minutes before the break, Ian Kearney headed down for Mike Pearson to equalise and, immediately after the interval, Steve Jones ended a good passing move by netting into the bottom corner for his first WPL goal.
Chances were few and far between in the second period but Connolly did manage to get a header on target from Ryan Valentine's cross without troubling keeper James Coates.
Airbus would have extended their lead but for a superb save by Ashley Morris in the Bala goal before Stuart Jones cleared off the line.
On 85 minutes, the Wingmakers also had a strong shout for a penalty when Chris Simm went down after a challenge but the man in the middle waved the shouts away and Airbus stayed strong for the remainder of the game to claim the points.
