Ireland Under-19 Squad Named For France Double Header

The Ireland Under-19 squad is coached by Peter Malone (head coach) and Kieran Campbell (assistant coach) and managed by Barney McGonigle.

The travelling party includes prop Andrew Porter and full-back/winger Jacob Stockdale, who both featured as replacements for the Ireland Under-20s during their recent U-20 RBS 6 Nations campaign.

Number 8 Dan Trayers, who helped Cistercian College Roscrea win the Leinster Schools Senior Cup for the first time, has been called up along with fellow Schools Cup winners, Conor Kenny from Garbally College in Connacht, and Sean O’Connor, who captained Rockwell College to the title in Munster.

Two other notable inclusions are Ulster Under-19 back rower Conall Boomer, who is on a gap year in Australia and helped the Western Australia Under-20s claim back-to-back Southern States Championships last month, and Glamorgan Wanderers scrum half Liam Free, whose paternal grandmother hails from Waterford.
