The beauty of the Tuskegee University campus cannot be described in words. It really is something you have to experience for yourself. The National Park Service designates the campus as the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site. It is the only college campus designated as such, and is considered one of America’s most picturesque.

That’s why each year, thousands of hopeful students, families, and history enthusiasts stop by “The Pride of the Swift Growing South” for prospective student tours, and for visits to the National Park Service’s George Washington Carver Museum and The Oaks, the home of Booker T. Washington. Visitors can also tour the Tuskegee University Archives and Legacy Museum, both with extensive collections focused on African and African American history and art.

We offer two types of tours: Prospective Student and Historic Campus. Our campus is expansive and the university campus tours are thorough (so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.) The prospective student tour includes an admissions presentation by staff of the Office of Admissions and a campus tour with one of our University Ambassadors  who are happy to answer questions and provide insight to the university.

We will not be accepting tour requests until further notice.
