mac book says buy surface microsoft ad

A couple of days back Microsoft released a 30-second video of a guy comparing the pros and cons between Apple’s MacBook Air and its own Surface Laptop 2. But who would have thought that the company would leave no stone unturned when it comes to taking a dig at Apple?

Microsoft says it went all the way to Sydney, Australia to find a guy named Mackenzie Book, or as mentioned in the video “Mac Book.” Until now, many people thought Mackenzie was a girl’s name.

In the video, a guy in the voice asks “Mac Book” a bunch of questions regarding the battery life, touch screen capabilities, and speed of the two devices.

“You should get a Surface. Trust me, I’m Mac Book”, says the guys in the video.

To show the battery life, a guy even hands over a bowl of pop-corn to Mac Book when he was about to use the Surface Laptop. Of course, all of the questions only highlighted the advantages of Microsoft’s computer. It remains to be seen how Apple responds to this ad.

This makes for one more addition to the decade-long ad war that has been going on between the two companies. It all started back in 2006 when Apple’s marketing team launched the “Get a Mac” campaign where two men, representing a Windows and a Mac computer, stood in front of a white background talking about each other.

Apart from people standing behind both Mac and Surface, the video was quick to invite funny and interesting comments from multiple users.

Some users even warned Mac Book of a possible lawsuit. In the past, Microsoft sued a guy named Mike Rowe for running a website “mikerowesoft.com” because it phonetically sounded similar.
