After 70 years,
world-famous 1932 Olympic bobsled finally finds a permanent home

BACK IN 1952, Douglas Armstrong of Lancaster decided to buy his two sons, Douglas Jr. and Richard, something special from the 1932 Olympics.

The elder Armstrong had seen an advertisement in the Wall Street Journal or the New York Times for a 1932 Fram III bobsled, which was used by the German four-man bobsled team at the Lake Placid Olympics. So, he made arrangements to purchase the bobsled and was also able to find its identical match.
