Bonnaroo Music Festival
The Bonnaroo Music Festival captured Gigapans of the crowds at their 2010 summer concerts and embedded the images on the Bonnaroo website for fans to find themselves, and link the gigapans on their Facebook pages.
Nano Gigapan
The Nano Gigapan projects gives users a microscopic look at insects, barnacles, algae and flower seeds using a GigaPan unit attached to a scanning electron microscope (SEM) for 1000X magnification.
Mount Everest
Astronaut Scott Parazynski and Keith Cowing climbed Mount Everest as part of education and public outreach for their non-profit organization, the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. Along the way, they took an EPIC and captured amazing panoramas on Everest, the highest gigapans ever taken on the surface of the Earth.
MLB Gigapan Tagoramic at the World Series
MLB used the EPIC Pro to capture amazing gigapans of every game of the 2010 World Series. Using GigaPan Tagoramic, fans could find themselves, find their friends and tag on Facebook!
Hewlett Packard
As shown in the photo above, HP created kiosks to demonstrate gigapans on their new TouchSmart computers, which allow you to zoom in and out of the phenomenal detail with the touch of your finger. The HP TouchSmart PC is a touch-enabled, all-in-one PC that makes viewing a gigapan a compelling, hands-on experience.
