Twinkle Khanna launches her digital platform, Tweak India

A film producer, newspaper columnist, author and owner of an interior décor company, Twinkle Khanna has now launched her digital content company, Tweak India. The platform aims to start and sustain conversations around body positivity, parenting, women’s empowerment, mental health, bullying, LGBTQI, beauty, wellness, sustainability and fashion among other topics; and is aimed mainly at women. It’s an open platform for them to seek advice, ask questions and engage in a meaningful dialogue and debate.

Unlike most platforms that focus on a particular subject, the 45-year-old’s initiative will talk about almost everything, creating a space for women that spotlights subjects that have traditionally not been discussed openly. You can expect short and long reads, podcasts, videos and off-line events.

A special section called 'Tweak Multitasker' will also challenge celebrities to answer an eccentric questionnaire while simultaneously performing a task. Khanna will make her debut as an interviewer with 'Golden Girls', another section that talks about iconic female leaders, from Sudha Murthy to Vidya Balan.

In her first post for Tweak India, Khanna wrote that the platform will work towards bridging the gap between the aspirational and the accessible for the Indian woman—while also inspiring young writers and entrepreneurs. To achieve that, Khanna has partnered with Instagram and aims to target that community first. The content will first be available on IGTV for 48 hours before it goes live on any other platform.
