Ayushmann Khurrana to shoot Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan in Varanasi

Ayushmann Khurrana surely is on cloud nine after giving hits like Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15 and Dream Girl. And now, after the release of Dream Girl, the actor is all set to continue his journey onto another film. While he had already begun shooting for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan a couple of days ago in Mumbai, he will now be heading to Varanasi to carry on with the next schedule of the film. Reportedly, it’s going to be a month-long schedule.

In Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan, Ayushmann will be seen playing a homosexual on the big screen as the film’s plot revolves around a gay love story. He has left for Varanasi in UP, where the film will continue its shoot. Ayushmann has shot quite a few films in UP earlier. Article 15, Dream Girl, Bareilly Ki Barfi, all were shot in Lucknow. And by now, after shooting so much there, the actor has started loving the state and enjoys UP food, local culture and music.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which is directed by Hitesh Kewalya is a spin-off of the actor’s 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.  It also starred Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann who played the role of a boy suffering from erectile dysfunction. The sequel is set to release on 13th March 2020.
