LIST: How former ‘Probinsyano’ stars fared in #Halalan2019

MANILA—Over the past few months, several cast members of "Ang Probinsyano" exited the program in time for the campaign season for the elections. 

And now the results are in.

The wide reach of the primetime series, which remains the undisputed No. 1 TV program in the country, was seen as a boon to the respective electoral bids of its former stars.

However, it appears even the phenomenal stature of the show was not enough to catapult some aspirants into politics, whether as a new venture or a comeback.

EDU MANZANO

"President Lucas Cabrera"

"Homer 'Alakdan' Adlawan"

"Philip Tang"

The "Be Careful with My Heart" star sought the congressional seat for the 1st district of Cebu City, but ultimately settled for second in the 4-way race, according Tuesday night's tally drawn from 99.86% of election returns. Dreamscape Entertainment Television
