Good show by Kochi schools in ICSE exams

Schools in Ernakulam district have fared well in the ICSE and ISC examinations 2011-12, the results of which were announced on Saturday.

Distinction

Out of the 49 students who had appeared for the ICSE examinations from M.E.S. Udyogmandal School, 29 came out with distinction and 20 with first class. K. S. Sreelakshmi (97 per cent) is the school topper.

Twenty-nine out of the 32 students who appeared for the ISC examinations of the school secured distinction and three first class. Vivek R. is the school topper, with 96 per cent.

Forty out of the 73 students who appeared for the ICSE examinations from Seventh Day Adventist High School at Kaloor won distinction while 33 bagged first class. Ipsita Joshy (95 per cent) is the school topper.

In the ISC examinations, 24 students won distinction while 14 bagged first class. Sarath Hari, with 90 per cent, is the school topper.

The St. Aloysius Convent I.S.C. School at Palluruthy won hundred per cent pass in both the ICSE and ISC examinations.

Aradhanamol (86 per cent) is the school topper in the ISC category while Jessy Soza, with 93 per cent, emerged the school topper in the ICSE section.

Out of the 68 students who appeared for the ICSE examination in Don Bosco Senior Secondary School at Vaduthala, 15 won distinction while 38 got first class.

Anu Joy is the school topper, with 93 per cent marks in the examination.

In the ISC category, six out the 37 students who appeared for the examination won distinction while 25 received first class. M. Balakumara Vignesh (93 per cent) is the school topper.

The St. Charles Borromeo Convent School at Thuthiyoor won 100 per cent pass in the ICSE examination.
