To the editor,

There has never been a more critical time to advocate and protect the most vulnerable among us: our unborn children.

Sadly, abortion has become widely accepted in our culture. Now, the Democratic Party has added late-term abortion and, in some cases, even infanticide to their platform — their most radical platform yet.

However, I know one thing for sure. Tennesseans stand for the precious right to life, and we will not tolerate the ideas for abortion that the radical left wants to implement. We stand with President Trump, who has been a strong leader in the fight for the unborn

In January, he became the first sitting president to speak at the March for Life, and his administration has put together an international coalition that is committed to eradicating abortions worldwide.

We need another strong conservative in the U.S. Senate to work with President Trump and Sen. Marsha Blackburn to stand up for the precious right to life. I strongly believe this conservative is Trump-endorsed candidate Bill Hagerty.

While Hagerty was growing up, his parents instilled deep Christian, conservative values into him that guide him to this day. He values life and believes that we should do everything in our power to protect the most vulnerable.

He knows that abortion isn’t a human right. It’s taking a human life. As Tennessee’s next U.S. Senator, Hagerty will continue to work with President Trump to protect the rights of the unborn by defunding Planned Parenthood, stopping taxpayer-funded abortions and passing pain-capable legislation for botched abortions.

We can rest assured that Tennesseans — born and unborn — are in safe hands with Hagerty, who will work until every American is granted the right to life.
