KPIX Eyewitness news report by Ben Williams from July 20th, 1973 featuring an interview given by Elaine Brown at a boycott of a Safeway at 27th and West streets in Oakland because the retail grocery chain has resisted demands by the United Farm Workers (UFW) to sell only grapes picked by their union. Brown discusses the intimidation tactics and violence being used against the United Farm Workers, while protesters, including Ericka Huggins and Elbert "Big Man" Howard, carry signs that read, "Boycott Safeway, Boycott Grapes."
