EastEnders spoilers follow.
Ex-What Not to Wear host Mica Paris has arrived in EastEnders to revisit a secret from Denise Fox's past.
The presenter appeared in the soap in Friday night's (September 25) episode as Ellie Nixon, teased as being "a wolf in sheep's clothing, with far more to her than her warm-hearted façade lets on".
Her on-screen debut came about while Denise was tangled up in Isaac Baptiste (Stevie Basaula) facing trumped up drug allegations at the school from Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
Denise happened to overhear a shaken Callum Highway (Tony Clay) speaking to Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) about attending a police call for a hit-and-run accident on a four-person family.
The story twigged Denise's memory, so she headed to the hospital, where she discovered that one of those injured — a little boy called Raymond — was the son she'd given up for adoption. She learned Raymond's adoptive sister and mum had died in the crash.
She also met Ellie, Raymond's adoptive grandmother. Denise didn't reveal her identity to Ellie, as the grieving woman shared her hopes for revenge against the person involved in the accident.
As a nurse came in to tell Ellie there was "bad news" about her son, Denise entered the hospital room to weep for the injured baby Raymond.

In the night's duff-duff moment, a nurse came into the room to ask whether Denise was family, and she declared: "I am. I am."
Diane Parish hinted this past summer that Denise was headed for one of the most challenging periods of her tenure in the Square.
"I do know that some dark things from her past are going to resurface and there's going to be some challenges there for Denise," she told Secrets from the Square host Stacey Dooley.
EastEnders continues Monday (September 28) at 8.05pm on BBC One.
