Written By : MACIU MALO. The Flying Fijians team for the Europe tour will be announced after the BSP Farebrother Sullivan Trophy game between MRecht Nadi and MRecht Outrigger on the Lagoon Nadroga on Saturday.
Fiji Rugby Union National coaching director Samu Domoni confirmed this to SUNsports.
Domoni said all the overseas based players have been considered for selection and only time would tell on whether or not to be part of the tour.
When asked on Rupeni Caucau’s chances Domoni said ‘only time will tell.’
“All overseas based players will be considered and the team will be announced after the Farebrother on Saturday.
“The preparation is going well.”
The former Waratahs rep said the tour would set a platform for next year’s competition and players have been reminded to manage their time well.
“The tour will set the platform for next year with the establishment of our game going into 2011 and performing collectively from management through the players.”
“For the players they have to manage their time well on and off the field and to follow the instructions regarding their programme and never to give up.”
Meanwhile, some of the local players who are likely to force their way after a fine performance during the year include Vesi Rarawa, Setefano Somoca, Leone Nakarawa, Anthony Wise,Jimilai Nakaidawa, Kelemedi Bola, Waisale Vatuvoka, Api Ratuniyarawa, Rupeni Nasiga, Alefoso Yalayalatabua, Kelepi Ketedromo, Taniela Rawaqa, Nikola Matawalu, Nemani Nagusa, Semesa Gonevou and Sireli Ledua.
