Veteran Marathi actress Seema Deo suffering from Alzheimer's disease, son Ajinkkya reveals

Noted actress Seema Deo who has worked in several Marathi and Hindi movies, is suffering from Alzheimer 's disease.
Thehealth update pertaining to the veteran actress was shared by her son, Ajinkkya Deo , on Wednesday.
"My mother shrimati Seema Deo, doyen ofMarathi film industry , is suffering from Alzheimer's. We, the entire Deo family, have been praying for her well being, wish the whole of Maharashtra who loved her so much also pray for her well being," the actor tweeted.
Later, thanking everyone on behalf of the entire Deo family, Ajinkkya said, "Thank you all for your good wishes and blessings for Aai ... prayers go up blessings come down thanks all."
The 78-year-old actress has worked in acclaimed Marathi films like "Jagachya Pathivar" (1960) and "Vardakshina" (1962).
She also featured in popular Hindi films, along with her actor-director husbandRamesh Deo , like 'Saraswatichandra' (1968), 'Anand' and 'Dream Girl' (1977).
The couple is also parents to Bollywood filmmaker Abhinay Deo.
