The Diary of Tanya Savicheva represents a few pages with brief notes, which have become known all over the world and served as accusatory document against war and fascism at the Nuremberg trials.

The inscription on the board reads: «In this house, Tanya Savicheva wrote the siege diary. 1941-1942». Also the famous line is quoted below, «Only Tanya is left». The memorial plaque was opened on January 27, 2005 on the Day of the 61st Anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege.
