We bring hands-on science programs to children in Grades K-5, teaching science the way it should be: interactive, motivating, FUN, and thought-provoking!

Our programs are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, the MA Science Curriculum Frameworks and the RI Grade Span Expectations.

  • We offer in school workshops with an enhanced COVID-19 safety protocol. Our scientists come to your classroom, camp, or after-school program with all the equipment to engage children with hands-on experiments.

  • In-School workshops are 60-75 minutes long and often include take-home materials!

  • We can present up to four classes through a typical school day.

  • After-School Programs or Assemblies can meet for a single session or over an 8-10 week period, and are suitable for groups of 10-25 children in per session.

  • COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL

    High Touch High Tech remains committed to the health and safety of your staff and students. Safety precautions preventing the spread of COVID-19 are our greatest priority. For this reason, our practices to help minimize the spread of potentially harmful germs include:
    • In School workshops have been shortened to allow for adequate cleaning and disinfecting supplies between classes
    • Workshops have been modified to eliminate or reduce communal supplies
    • All workshop participants and teachers are requested to wear masks and sanitize/wash hands pre- and post the workshop
    • Science Instructors will wear masks and practice social distancing
    • Science Instructors will be screened daily for any symptoms
    • We will adapt to your school's additional health safety guidelines, if any.

We provide our full selection of Elementary School Programs and more in Short Workshop, Half Day, or Full Day formats to suit your camp programming needs:

  • Our scientists come to your camp location for 45-60 minute sessions up to 20 kids/group, and can provide multiple sessions in a single day!.

  • We can utilize our Program Listing to create customized science theme programs for your vacation camp! Here are a past examples:

    • Engineering Program Themes (ask, imagine, design, plan, build, test, improve): Beams and Bridges, Columns and the Built Environment, Engineering and the Human Body, Aerodynamics, Chemical Engineering, Finally Fun Machines, Engineering and Blue Printing, Levers and Catapults, Make it Float, Engineering for Everyone, and many more!

    • Space Program Themes: Cosmic Capers© (space, the solar system), Up, Up and Away© (rockets and more), Space Explorers (venture into space and meet the planets and constellations), and Life on Mars (what living on Mars would be like).

    • Practical Science Themes: Forensic Fun© (the techniques used by detectives to solve a crime), Flight Command© (how things fly), Matter Matters© (properties of matter), Vibes© (sound and how we hear), and It’s Energetic! (explore many different forms of energy including sound, light and electricity).
