The captain played his 461st match and equaled Santillana's record.
Sergio Ramos has now made the fourth most league appearances in the history of Real Madrid, after today's game against Huesca. The captain, who has won the league title 5 times, played his 461th match and equalled Santillana's record. Ahead of him are the only three players who have played more than five hundred matches in the white shirt: Raúl (550), Sanchís (523) and Casillas (510).
 
Sergio Ramos has won 310 games, drawn 73 and lost 78 in the 461 he’s played for Real Madrid. Add to this number the 39 matches for Sevilla, he reached the milestone of 500 matches in the  Primera División against Huesca. Last season in LaLiga was Ramos' most active with 35 games played. Followed by 2011/12 (34) and, with one less in 2009/10, 2007/08, 2006/07 and 2005/06. Ramos has also scored 72 goals in LaLiga, with his best scoring season coming in 2019/20 when he scored 11 times.
