COVID SAFE UPDATE

We would like to thank all of our customers, old and new, who have returned since we reopened, and for all of the positive feedback about the measures we have put in place and how safe customers feel with the changes.

We have changed a few things to improve the flow with the one way system.  We have a new entrance into the garden, with entry to the pub from the decking and exiting via the double doors to the marquee.

Hand sanitizer stations are at the entrance to the grounds, entrance to the pub and by the toilets.

Track and trace details can be completed near the entrance.

Having successfully hosted a birthday party and a wake in the new marquee in the garden, with plenty of seating with safe distancing, we have been happy to receive great feedback from customers, and are confident in taking bookings for gatherings outside now, so get in touch to book all those parties you've been missing!

The Park Gate has been a public house since the 1840's.  In recent years the pub became an Indian restaurant, until we lovingly converted it back into a traditional country pub in 2015.  The pub is set in large gardens with stunning countryside views, with a play area for the children and free bouncy castle throughout the summer months.  We also have a field available for camping overnight.

Our cozy bar is perfect for a quiet pint and a cheese and onion cob by the fire!  Our lounge is available to hire and is perfect for any party.  Please click the Function Room tab for more details.

We proudly serve a wide range of excellently conditioned real ale from a wide range of brewers, alongside a wide range of drinks for all the family including a range of coffees and speciality teas.  Our log burners will keep you cozy on chillier nights, along with our hand crocheted pile of blankets!

Being based on the popular Hunter's Walks, groups are welcome to use our car park whilst out walking, and to enjoy a drink and a freshly made cob after walking up a thirst!
