Division of Publications

The Division of Publications provides oversight of all published resources of the United Pentecostal Church International. Historically the ability to publish resources constitutes a key role in shaping an organization’s identity, for it is through the dissemination of doctrine that group identity is established and perpetuated. This role of publishing takes on even greater significance when we consider the mission of the UPCI to take the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church.
 

Throughout human history, God has used the written word to help communicate His plan for relationship with His people. From the mountaintop moment of the Ten Commandments to the letters God would direct Paul to write, God uses the ministry of writing to help His people understand how to live in covenant with Him.
 
The UPCI has a rich history of embracing the ministry of writing, and the publishing arm has always been a key component of the organization. The Pentecostal Church Incorporated (PCI), one of the two church organizations that merged to form the UPCI, had established the Pentecostal Publishing House (PPH) in 1944. The newly formed UPC operated PPH from its beginning. Since that time the Division of Publications (DOP), which houses the Pentecostal Life, Word Aflame Press, and the Pentecostal Publishing House, has resourced the church to fulfill the critical mission of taking the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church.
 
Now the largest Oneness Pentecostal publisher and serving the broader Apostolic community, DOP’s pursuit of the mission to share the gospel has led to the creation and publication of a number of resources. As the DOP team looks to the future, we continue to seek ways to innovate the means by which we serve the whole church in taking the whole gospel to the whole world.
