Stamullen Village Heritage Trail

CityNorth Hotel  has unveiled their new tourism initiative of two new local heritage trail routes. Commencing from the hotel grounds and taking in the quaint rural villages of Gormanston and Stamullen, these new walking trails (which can also be enjoyed on bicycles - hired from the hotel) feature a number of fascinating hidden heritage gems which guests can read about on the hotels new comprehensive Heritage Trail Map.

The Gormanston route can also be enjoyed with an audio guided tour with highlights that include details of a prehistoric salt works and Bronze Age landscape!

One trail takes you to Stamullen village and into St Patricks Medieval Church ruins.
The other takes you left at the end of the hotel path and into the rural area around Gormanstown.

There is also recorded an Audio Guide for the Gormanston Trail, which can also be picked up from the hotel's reception.

These local heritage trails last for between 1 hour to 90 minutes each and with advance notice,
City North hotel would be happy to arrange a personally guided tour with our local historian
for a very reasonable fee.
