About Higher Standard’s Sober Living

Higher Standard’s Sober living provides a CLEAN, SAFE, SUPPORTIVE, STRUCTURED environment helping empower woman on the path to living a SOBER life. During participation in our program guests will complete a Goal form outlining daily goals, short term goals and long term goals.

We will help develop a timeline and plan to make these goals a reality. We provide a positive environment for peer group recovery. We offer monthly onsite classes such as Yoga, Nutrition “healthy habits, better eating on a budget”. We hold social events such as Movie Night, Paint Parties and Cookouts to promote social sober living.

High Standard’s Sober living is privately owned with high standard’s in regards to the quality and safety of the home and our Guests. It is important that we raise the bar ABOVE the average standard sober living and halfway houses.

Excellent management is essential to a well-run, structured environment. We promote individual recovery and help our Guests in becoming self-supportive to lead a healthy productive life . Guests are required to meet Higher Standards Sober Living’s expectations in health, safety and management guidelines as stated in our Mandatory Participation Rules and the Guest Participation Agreement.

Guest Weekly Fees: $175.00 Participation Fee, $5.00 House Fee (goes towards paper products, cleaning supplies for the house) Due every Friday before 8 pm we accept self-pay in form of cash or credit and will try to work with all types of assistance.

We include: cable, house phone, wi-fi, gas and electric, water, fully furnished environment in common areas. Each room includes bed, nightstand dresser, closet space. Guests must bring bedding, towels, any personal items they require.

The house is run by the owner, house manager and an assistant house manager. Guest will be required to participate in:

  • House Meetings
  • NA/AA Meetings
  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Abide by Curfews and House Rules
  • Participate in Daily and Weekly Chores
