The first name of Grat Dalton, one of the Wild West outlaws known as the Dalton brothers, incorrectly was given as Graf in a photo caption with a Page One article Thursday about facial-recognition software and old photos.

Carol Hymowitz is a former visiting scholar at the Stanford Center on Longevity. This affiliation was omitted from a Nov. 16 Encore article by Ms. Hymowitz about advantages to being older during the pandemic.

Typhoon is the term used for tropical cyclones in the western Pacific. A Nov. 21 Review article about hurricanes said the term typhoon also is used for tropical cyclones in the Indian Ocean; however, the generic term tropical cyclone generally is used for those storms.
