杭州市西溪医院（杭州市第六人民医院、浙江中医药大学附属杭州西溪医院）创建于1937年，是一家以诊治肝病、感染性疾病为特色的集医疗、教学、科研、预防、保健为一体的市属三级甲等公立医院。2012年，医院从文晖路201号整体搬迁至留下地区。医院先后被评为全国卫生系统先进集体，全国先进基层党组织，全国模范职工之家，浙江省模范集体，浙江省绿色医院，浙江省平安医院，杭州市文明单位，全国厂务公开民主管理先进单位，全国预防艾滋病、梅毒和乙肝母婴传播工作优秀集体等。
医院毗邻环境优美的西溪国家湿地公园，依山傍水，环境优美。 医院历史悠久，经过80余年的不断探索和积累，已经在临床诊疗和学科建设等方面有着深厚积淀和鲜明的专科特色。目前，医院占地面积200亩，建筑面积近10万平方米，核定床位1100张（其中二期规划建设床位500张）。现有职工近千人，卫技人员860余人，其中高级职称以上人员180余人，博士、硕士170余人，博导、硕导20余人。医院拥有核磁共振、CT、DR、美国贝克曼自动生化流水线、贝克曼流式细胞仪、免疫发光分析仪、全自动药品分包机、MAQUE手术室等医疗设备；开设有肝病科、感染科、普外科、肝胆外科、骨科、泌尿外科、胸外科、妇产科、普内科、心血管内科、消化内科、神经内科、呼吸科、肿瘤科、肾内科、内分泌科、皮肤性病科、儿科、口腔科、眼科、耳鼻咽喉科、国医馆（中医科）等40个门诊及24个病区；设有人工肝治疗中心、血透中心、微创诊疗中心等，已形成优势突出、特色鲜明、协调发展的综合学科体系。
医院是浙江省感染性疾病区域专病中心、浙江省数理医学学会感染性疾病专业委员会主委单位、浙江杭州肝病·感染专科联盟主委单位、杭州市肝病研究所、杭州市肝病诊疗中心、杭州市肝病药物研究所，也是国家药品临床试验（GCP）基地、国家中医药管理局中医药防治传染病重点研究室、中国脂肪肝健康促进项目诊治中心、全国人工肝疑难重症肝病攻关协作单位等。
感染性疾病学和肝病学（中西医）为两大省、市重点学科，危重病学（感染）为市级重点学科，临床检验学、医院药学、艾滋病诊疗学、超声诊断与介入诊断学为院级重点学科，感染性疾病护理学、感染性产科学、消化内科学、心血管内科学、神经内科学为院级重点扶植学科。自制制剂已成为医院肝病治疗的一大特色，累计研发产品达20余种，为我国肝病防治事业作出了积极贡献。
作为浙江中医药大学的附属医院，医院具有丰富的临床教学经验，担负着浙江中医药大学，杭州师范大学医学院、温州医科大学等医学院校学生教学和研究生培养工作，每年还承担大量临床、护理、药剂、检验等见实习、进修任务。
落实双向转诊、分级诊疗制度，牵头成立专科联盟，联盟成员单位涵盖杭州、温州、绍兴、台州、金华、湖州、衢州、舟山等地；对杭州市主城区51家社区社区卫生服务中心进行医联体协作，安排专家坐诊，并定期进行医疗查房、健康宣传、义诊、讲座。

Hangzhou Xixi Hospital(Hangzhou 6th People’s Hospital,theAffiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University) initiated in 1937,is a public hospital of Grand III, Class-A.
