What is Packaging360 Leadership?

This advanced-level online course is an integrated, six-module curriculum spanning 7.5 hours that enables packaging professionals to leverage packaging beyond mere tactical skills. It empowers you to understand the intersection of packaging and business by imparting analytical skills that enable you to become a more rounded business professional. Packaging360 Leadership is an ideal continuing education next step for anyone who has completed portions of or all of IoPP’s Fundamentals of Packaging Technology online or in-person course.

Who created the course content, and how was it vetted?

Packaging360 Leadership was created by Fastraqq Corp., a business consultancy focused on supply chain management and innovation, with an emphasis on packaging. The content was developed and the course is instructed and narrated by Dan Balan, President of Fastraqq, who advises leading consumer packaged goods companies on packaging and supply chain efficiencies. The content was reviewed by members of IoPP’s Board of Directors and Certified Packaging Professionals at leading CPG companies.

Where can I see descriptions for each module and register for the course?

IoPP, through an exclusive license with Fastraqq, brings this course to you on its online learning web site. The course is available only through IoPP’s e-learning site. Log on and follow the instructions on each screen. 

Who is the Packaging360 Leadership course designed for?

The content has been developed for package designers and engineers, and professionals in product development, supplier coordination/purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, department management, product/product line management, marketing and branding, and all customer-facing functions.

What are the minimum computer requirements that I need to access the course? Can I take the online modules on my tablet computer?

The Packaging360 Leadership modules were built using Flash technology, so any browser that supports Flash is suitable for logging onto the modules. You need to have access to a computer with Internet access, version 8 or later.

I can’t see the navigation arrows or other components of the modules on my screen. What do I need to do?

The screen resolution on your monitor might be set too low. The course is built for a resolution not lower than 1024x768. Try the following solutions: Change your resolution setting to 1024x768 or higher. Also try clicking on the F11 key to expand the viewable area on your screen; you might be able to “full screen” the browser window. Or, view the course from another computer with a higher resolution capability.

I don’t need the complete course. Can I take the modules individually?

Yes, you may register individually for modules 1-5, although the course was developed as an integrated curriculum. However, module 6 is available only when purchasing the entire course, as it applies the principles covered in the other modules. Module 6 is not available for purchase separately.

Will I receive printed materials that complement the online modules for Packaging360 Leadership?

No. The modules are designed solely for an online learning environment. No printed materials are available.

What about testing on each module?

Each of the first five modules concludes with its own 50-question online test. A passing score is 35 of the 50 questions answered correctly for an individual module.

Can I begin an exam, save it and finish it later?

No. Once you begin an exam, you will need to finish it through to completion. If you exit the exam before completing it, your work will not be saved, and you will need to start over. Before you start an exam, make sure you can allow 30 to 45 minutes to complete it. 

Can I earn a certificate or certification by completing any or all of Packaging360 Leadership?

Upon completing each module and passing the related exam, you will be able to download a Certificate of Completion. However, no certification program is offered for this course.

If I complete portions or all of Packaging360 Leadership, can I earn CPE credits through IoPP?

Yes. IoPP will award 1.5 CPEs upon completing and successfully testing through each of the five primary modules taken individually, and 8.5 total CPEs upon completing and successfully testing through the entire course.

Are other payment options available besides a credit card for Packaging360 Leadership registration?

Credit card is the preferred method of payment, but IoPP also accepts payment for online Fundamentals classes by check.

Is financing available for the entire course?

Unfortunately, IoPP and Fastraqq cannot offer any financing options for the program. Consider enrolling in individual modules as you are able.

Can I start a module on one computer and finish it on another computer?

Yes, as long as you can get onto the Internet and access IoPP’s e-learning site, you can work on a module on any computer you have available, as long as it supports Flash technology.

After I register for and purchase my courses, how long will they be available to me online?

Your course purchases will be available for six months from the date of your registration. 

Can I replay/refresh the course after I’ve finished?

Yes, any lessons you purchase are available in your learning center after completion.

After beginning a module, can I bookmark my spot and save it, and resume it later? How long do I have to complete a module after I’ve started it?

Yes, you can return to any section of the class you have started by clicking on the menu tabs to the left on the course screen. A class will expire one month after you begin taking it. You may enter the class multiple times to complete the program after you purchase it. However, the license is only for one (1) user. User violations void the license, and access the course(s) will be discontinued without refund.
