VIDEO CHARTS : Rental Deja Vu

Arts and entertainment reports from The Times, national and international news services and the nation's press

The top 10 places in the Billboard video rental chart are, in some respects, are beginning to look like Old Home Week. The top three finishers last week are on top again this week. Only the inexorable upward rise of the ultraviolent “RoboCop"--up to No. 4 from No. 11 last week--changes the picture. * “No Way Out” gained an incalculable box-office break last year when the Iran-Contra affair became public just as this tale of Washington insider intrigue was being released. Apparently, enough people think its virtues are still exemplary, because the film--which stars Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman--debuted on the rental chart at No. 7.
