  3. NEW: I’m told that not only did the president not reach out to Vice President Pence on Wednesday night - he has not called him since, per a source familiar with the matter. It’s an extraordinary detail. I’ve asked the White House for comment, but so far no response.

    This will be a day remembered forever, but not at all for the reasons the President thinks. (Also, it wasn’t a landslide victory, election wasn’t stripped, great patriots don’t put the Capitol under siege, etc etc.)

    .: Capitol officers came to our booths and escorted us to the basement tunnels. The subway was filled with officers in riot gear, and the air smelled of smoke used to disperse rioters. We are now holding, and are not allowed to leave the building.

  19. About 90 mins. ago, WH spox explained on Fox Biz the reasons why "the president indicated his intent to sign the bill," including...the stimulus checks the president's now blasting. Not the first time a staffer's public statements have been undercut by the boss.
