Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Edge. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will bypass the Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) security feature on the target system [CVE-2016-3244].
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-3246].
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object handling memory error in the Chakra JavaScript engine and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-3265, CVE-2016-3269].
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will exploit a flaw in the VBScript engine and view potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2016-3271].
Henry Li (zenhumany) www.trendmicro.com, Zheng Huang of the Baidu Security Lab, Kai Song (exp-sky) of Tencent's Xuanwu LAB, cc working (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)), WanderingGlitch (via Trend Micro' ZDI), and Jordan Rabet of Microsoft Offensive Security Research Team reported these vulnerabilities.
