Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' was well enjoyed by the fans, and the actor had impressed the masses with his skillful acting. Director Sudha Kongara has well sculpted the film, while GV Prakash Kumar's music made it more powerful. Now, the latest report is that following the Oscars race, Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' enters into the 3rd round of Golden Globe awards. The panel members of the Golden Globe awards have reportedly liked the film and accordingly they have selected the film for the next level screening.

After several changes in the Oscar rules done by the panel members this year, 'Soorarai Pottru' competes in all categories including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Composer, and Best Writer. But the film has to be selected at this level to make it to the final nomination to bag the much-respected award. Now, the back-to-back big selections have added more pride to the film crew's immense work, and they are overwhelmed with the response.


Meanwhile, fans and cinema stars are also happy about the selection of 'Soorarai Pottru' for Academy Awards and Golden Globe awards and are praising the team on social media. 'Soorarai Pottru' features Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Krishna Kumar, Urvashi, Karunas, Paresh Rawal, and many others, and the film is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga's 2D Entertainment.
