In addition to promoting Downing and Bowen, Vrabel promoted Luke Steckel to tight ends coach, Ryan Crow to outside linebackers coach and Matt Edwards to assistant special teams coach. Also, the Titans have hired Kenechi Udeze as an assistant defensive line coach.

The award winners are determined in a balloting of 101 sportswriters and broadcasters who cover the NFL. The Committee of 101 has presented the 101 Awards honor players and coaches each season since the AFL-NFL merger in 1969, making it the nation's oldest awards event dedicated exclusively to professional football.

The Titans are represented by eight members of the organization in Mobile, which is roughly half the number from a year ago. The NFL put the cap at 10 per team for this year's Senior Bowl because of COVID-19 precautions.

The Alan Page Community (APC) Award is the highest honor that the NFLPA can bestow upon a player, as it annually recognizes one player who "goes above and beyond to perform community service in his team city and/or hometown." Each of the finalists will receive an additional $10,000 for his foundation or charity of choice, with the winner being determined this week through a league-wide vote by their NFL peers.
