The most streamed track on Spotify in one week totals 71,467,874 streams, and was achieved by Ariana Grande’s (USA) “7 Rings” for the week ending 24 January 2019.

Remarkably, “7 Rings” attracted more than double the number of plays than the second-most streamed track, Post Malone’s “Sunflower” (33,799,389).

“7 Rings” also racked up the third-highest number of streams on Spotify in a 24- hour period, with 10,445,538 on 8 February 2019. As of 19 November 2019, the only two tracks with more streams in 24 hours are Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” (10,977,389 on 10 May 2019) and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (10,819,009 on 24 December 2018).

Drake’s “In My Feelings” (67,499,798 streams in the week ending 19 July 2018) held the weekly record previously, having claimed it from Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” (64,275,251 streams in the week ending 9 March 2017).
