    I went to the Mississippi Delta, one of the poorest places in the country, and found a hospital system overrun by COVID-19 cases, a debilitating shortage of nurses, a resistance to masks and a helluva lot of tears from frustrated medical workers.

    10 GOP votes for impeachment constitutes the highest number from the president’s own party ever, and 231 overall votes (so far) is the highest number in history. In other words, this is the strongest and most bipartisan repudiation of a president by the House.

    On a normal week, you might see “BREAKING” on 5-10 times. We used “BREAKING” on the account ** 72 ** times in the Wednesday-Friday period. Feels unprecedented. Started with Raphael Warnock’s projected win and ended with the Trump Twitter ban.
