Exide Technologies Names Brian Woodworth Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Milton, Ga. – January 10, 2019 – Exide Technologies (www.exide.com), a global provider of stored energy solutions for the transportation and industrial markets, announced today the appointment of Brian Woodworth as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Woodworth will report to Tim Vargo, President and Chief Executive Officer, and will lead Exide’s Information Technology (IT) team from the Company’s global headquarters in Milton, Ga.

Mr. Woodworth has more than 20 years of experience leading technology teams in the automotive retail and distribution industries. During his career he has held Chief Information Officer and IT leadership roles at Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, Inc., Fred’s Inc., TruckPro, CSK Auto and Murray’s Discount Auto Stores.
