Pokemon Trading Card Game

Pok¿mon Card Delayed

Nintendo pushes back its release of the next Game Boy Color Pok¿mon game.

If you're waiting to get your hands on Pokémon Trading Card Game this winter, you're just going to have to wait a little longer. According to Nintendo, the release of the US version of Pokémon Trading Card Game has been pushed from its original winter date all the way to April 10, 2000. This new date makes Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 the next Pokémon videogame release.

Pokémon Trading Card Game was originally slated for release February 7, 2000. Nintendo representatives weren't available for comment, but because we've played a near-complete version of the English language version of the game, we expect the most likely reason is because Nintendo wants to focus the next Pokémon push on the huge release of Pokémon Stadium this March.

Which makes you wonder ¿ Nintendo does not have a Game Boy Color release for February. Is a surprise release imminent ? Or will Nintendo just leave a gap in its winter line-up? We'll let you know.
