Home Education Programs

Home Education Programs are overseen by the Student Services Department in accordance with the school district policies. GPS policies, presently under review by the school committee policy subcommittee, that pertain to home education programs are linked below. It is important for families to adhere to state laws regarding school attendance. Home education plans need to be submitted and approved prior to a child being removed from a formal public or private educational program. These requirements apply to new or continuing home education students. If you have questions about the home education notice of intent and approval process please contact the student services office at 413-772-1320.
