GoGuardian Helps Create Safe and Engaging Digital Learning Experiences

Dear GPS Families, Students, and Staff

To help keep our students safe and ensure that GPS-issued devices are used according to the AUG, we have chosen GoGuardian software tools that

  • Help protect students against harmful and inappropriate online material;

  • Help students stay “scholarly” and more focused when learning online;

  • Display active student screens during Class sessions;

  • Enable teachers and students to screen-share for communication or troubleshooting purposes;

  • Log student browsing data;

  • Help assess students’ progress towards class assignments; and,

  • Facilitate communication between teachers and students during class.

GPS Chromebook Technical Specifications 

On August 12, 2020, the Greenfield School Committee voted unanimously to adopt the Reopening Plan as presented by Superintendent Harper and the GREAT Team. The Committee also voted to begin the school year under the Remote / Remote Plus option, with meetings held every 2 weeks to assess progress through the Phased Approach outlined in the plan. Click here to read more information about the Fall 2020 Reopening Plan.

Go Green Wave!

Go Green Wave YouTube Channel Link

GPS has launched its own YouTube channel, Go Green Wave!

Go Green Wave! was created to help broadcast inspiring content for GPS students that helps students connect, learn, and engage during school closure. 

New content is added every day! We add videos for preK, elementary, middle, and high school students daily, and all content is appropriate for all ages. 

We’ve got a lot of great content to view such as Read-alouds, Science, How-To videos, Art, and more! Playlists arrange the videos by school, age level, and type. Click here to view the current video library and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel!
