AllMusic Review by Rob Theakston

Originally released somewhat quietly by Good Fellow Records and reissued in 2003 by Undecided Records, Burial Plot Bidding War took off like a forest fire via word of mouth and quickly established the band as one to watch on the screamo/hardcore circuit. Fierce, unrelenting vocals on top of near technically perfect dual guitars (think in the vein of Maiden and Molly Hatchet's best double-line moments) are the carte du jour they employ frequently, with successful results. At 20 minutes in length, the EP still can leaves a breathless, drained feeling and a desire for more. But more than that, it's a beautiful document of the scene at the time, and a road map outlining the directions the band would take in the future.
