Our Amazing Wedding! Sheild Wedding

We celebrated our wedding on the Gateway Clipper's Empress. It was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, the staff was fabulous & very professional, the DJ was awesome, and the views were truly spectacular. Most of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! My only regret is that it is over because I would do it again in a second! If you’re looking for a unique & fun wedding venue, definitely check out the Gateway Clipper Fleet!

Amazing Time!

We were actually on this cruise for New Years Eve. Such a great time, good hearty appetizers, good dance music and the decorations were out of this world! We were on the top level of the boat at midnight because the weather was crazy warm that night. Such beautiful views of Pitsburgh!

First thing we did in Pittsburgh!

I would definitely go on this tour again! Great views of downtown and parks. If you want to get acquainted with Pittsburgh, this should be the first thing you do. Tour lasted an hour -but gives you a wonderful overall feel for the city. The tour guide was interesting and informative about the city!

Informative and relaxing boat ride.

We were seated on the upper deck on a beautiful, sunny, afternoon. The views of downtown buildings were very panoramic and our tour guide was very personable. She provided a very nice backdrop on the various buildings and structures. Plus she was very entertaining and engaging. The price of the tour was very economical (had a senior discount) and well worth the price.

Brilliant and full of information

We went on the how pittsborough became Pittsburgh historical tour. It did not disappoint. The guide was very good and knew all the history. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know its history. The tour was worth the money and the area at the dock has a lovely cafe and gift shop. Superb.

Relaxing Activity

This is a great activity that is enjoyable for a group. During the cruise, you will learn about the history of Pittsburgh and also learn about the current sites in the city. Plenty of photo opportunities as you travel along the river.

Set the city from the Three Rivers of Pittsburgh

This boat tour is so easy to reach, in the Station Square area of Pittsburgh. The rates are reasonable, the boat was comfortable and was accommodating a group of school children on our tour and they were kept together for other passengers comfort. We took a history tour, other options are available throughout the day. Staff was very helpful and turned up the audio when we couldn't hear very well.
