Our Partners

UK-wide genomic sequencing

Our purpose is to provide data that influences public health interventions and policy decisions, and through this make a contribution towards reducing the toll of COVID-19 on our population.

Led by Professor Sharon Peacock of the University of Cambridge, COG-UK is made up of an innovative partnership of NHS organisations, Public Health Agencies, academic partners providing sequencing and analysis capacity, lighthouse labs, and the central sequencing hub of the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
