RIYADH (Debriefer)--A Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said it intercepted and destroyed a drone which was fired by the Houthi group towards the Saudi province of Jizan on Thursday.

The group's attempt to target civilians is a war crime, it said, affirming that it is taking measures to protect civilians in accordance with international law.

It was the second Houthi drone attack foiled by the coalition on Thursday. The first drone was fired towards the Saudi province of Khamis Musheit, the coalition said.
The group has intensified missile and drone attacks on Saudi military and economic targets and vowed to strike deep in the Saudi Kingdom until the Saudi-led aggression and blockade on Yemen end.
